Is when someone uses another person’s ideas, words, or work without giving them credit. It is a serious issue in academics and can happen in different ways. This includes copying and pasting from books, websites, or study guides without mentioning the source. It also happens when a person uses too many direct quotes without saying where they got them or when they take someone else’s work and claim it as their own.
