Introduction
The National Development Plan (NDP) is South Africa’s plan to end poverty and reduce
inequality by the year 2030. An important part of this plan is understanding the different
spatial patterns of unemployment that still exist today because of the country’s past.
According to Unit 3 of the study guide, the NDP focuses on “the critical capabilities
