orderly learning environment. The primary aim of classroom management is to foster a
positive and productive classroom atmosphere where students can engage in
meaningful learning experiences.

ANSWER

1.1 What is classroom management, and what should its primary aim be?

Classroom management means all the things a teacher does to keep the classroom
safe, organized, and ready for learning. It includes setting clear rules, routines, and
making sure learners behave well and focus on their work (UNISA, Study Unit 2, p. 56).

The main aim of classroom management is to create a positive learning environment
where all learners feel respected, safe, and can do their best work (UNISA, Study Unit
2, p. 57).
