Mr Ndlovu entered Mrs Dlamini’s pharmacy and removed an undisclosed amount of medication. All
attempts to arrest Mr Ndlovu by the security guards failed. Mrs Dlamini has no insurance for the stock.
Mr Jwarha, a security guard at the mall, confirms suspicious activities during the incident.
3.1 What crimes have been committed? (2)
3.2 Define the crime identified in question 3.1 above. (2)
3.3 Identify the elements of the crime defined in question 3.2 and briefly explain with practical
examples each element identified (8)
3.4 Conduct the preliminary investigation, as you will be the first investigator attending to the crime
scene. Your investigation should include a rough sketch of the crime scene and support service
you contacted. In this regard you are required to do a rough sketch of the crime scene and name
