OPM1501 ASSIGNMENT 2 (ALL CALCULATIONS AND FOMULARS SHOWN)

Description

This document contains my full responses to Assignment 3 for the OPM1501 module (Orientation to Intermediate Phase Mathematics) for the academic year 2025. The assignment is based on Learning Units 5, 6, and 7, which focus on numeric and geometric patterns, space and shape, and transformation geometry. I have carefully followed all instructions, including identifying and explaining patterns, completing flow diagrams, applying geometric transformations, classifying shapes, solving measurement-based problems, and explaining key mathematical concepts. All calculations are shown, and reasoning is provided in a clear, step-by-step manner suitable for an Intermediate Phase learner. The answers demonstrate both conceptual and procedural understanding, in line with constructivist and problem-solving approaches discussed in the study guide. All content is original, referenced from the official UNISA study material, and presented in my own words.
