Write a 600-word essay (approximately two typed pages) in which you critically
engage (reflect, question assumptions, and evaluate arguments) with Akabor and
Phasha’s (2022) recommendation that schools should abolish rewards for individual
efforts because they undermine inclusion. These scholars argue that an Afrocentric
perspective grounded in Ubuntu should be adopted to foster collaboration and
encourage a sense of togetherness. Do you agree/disagree with Akabor and Phasha?
