Description

GGH2606 Assignment 2 Semester 1 Memo | Due 5 May 2025. THREE AREAS PROVIDED. Report: Sustainability analysis of your chosen tourism area. Instructions
The report must address the following:
1)
Use learning units 5 and 6 to identify the three types of tourism impacts on a destination area.
2)
Next, apply the three types of impacts to your chosen tourism area. Use the balance sheet of impacts you have used in Activity 5.7.1 of the learning units.
3)
Both positive and negative impacts of each of the three types of impacts must be discussed.
4)
Important: you are analysing the impacts of tourism on the destination area and not the impacts of the area on tourism.
5)
Use learning unit 6 to determine the sustainability of your area as tourism destination based on the range of impacts found in the area. If the negative impacts for any of the three categories exceed the positive, the area cannot be a sustainable tourism destination.
6)
Use imagery (photos, maps, sketches, graphs, etc) to make the mini report interesting.

An attractive report will help you convey the depth of the message, which is a requirement.•
The length of the total report should not exceed 10 typed pages.

Supply a list of references from which you obtained material on the last page of your report. Use the referencing guidelines supplied to you on myUnisa under Additional Resources to make sure your references are correctly structured.

Students suspected of dishonest conduct such as plagiarism and cheating during the assignments will be subjected to disciplinary processes. UNISA has zero tolerance for plagiarism and/or any other forms of academic dishonesty.
