Drawing on all the knowledge you have gained through this module, explain how you would go about choosing a text to read with FAL learners in the Intermediate Phase in a South African, multicultural classroom.

Your essay should be 3-4 typed OR hand-written pages long, and you must write in your own words.

There is lots of information in your study guide about choosing a text for young learners in a multicultural group. You can refer to any of the information in the study guide but you must include these factors:
