1. From your reading of the passage, mention two reasons why students struggle
to reference?
According to the author on page 28, Referencing is often a surprisingly new concept to
students, as schools do not uniformly insist on the practice.
The skills themselves are usually not covered in formal subjects, and lecturers simply
expect students to know how to reference, leaving them to figure it out on their own.
