Job analysis
Job analysis is the process of systematically collecting information about a job’s tasks,
responsibilities, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) required to perform it.
The outcome is usually a job description and a job specification.
Role of job analysis in implementing a performance management system (6
marks):
Foundation for performance standards: Job analysis provides clear job descriptions,
which form the basis for setting measurable performance expectations.
