Question 1: Digital Portfolio (20 Marks)

Create a professional digital portfolio using Wix. Your portfolio should showcase your development as a future educator and demonstrate your ability to organise educational content effectively.

Required Portfolio Sections

1. Home Page (4 Marks)

Design an engaging and professional home page that includes:

• A welcoming introduction about yourself
• The purpose of your portfolio
• A professional portrait/photo
• A visually appealing and well-organised layout

2. Lesson Plans (4 Marks)

Create a Lesson Plans tab that contains sub-sections for different types of lesson plans. Ensure that lesson plans are clearly organised and easy to navigate.

3. Activities (4 Marks)

Create an Activities tab with sub-sections showcasing different learning activities. Activities should be organised according to their purpose and teaching phase.

4. Reflections (4 Marks)

Create a Reflection tab that includes sub-sections for different reflective entries. These reflections should demonstrate critical thinking about your teaching experiences and learning journey.

5. Videos (4 Marks)

Create a Videos tab with sub-sections for different educational videos, teaching demonstrations, or multimedia resources relevant to your portfolio.

Question 2: ICT-Integrated Lesson Activities (40 Marks)

2.1 Lesson Planning

Select a CAPS topic and grade that you are registered to teach, then complete the following:

• Topic: (2 Marks)
• Grade: (2 Marks)
• Three Lesson Objectives: (6 Marks)

Formulate three lesson objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy. The objectives should clearly describe what learners will know, understand, or be able to do by the end of the lesson.

2.2 ICT-Integrated Learning Activities

Using the lesson objectives you created, design one ICT-integrated learning activity for each phase of the lesson:

• Introduction Phase
• Development/Teaching Phase
• Conclusion/Assessment Phase

Include evidence of each activity and upload copies to the Activities section of your Wix portfolio.

The activities should demonstrate meaningful integration of technology to enhance teaching, learning, engagement, and assessment.
