Buying Notes

Eager to study? We are here for you! First things first - you need to register on our site.

Then, search for your module that you need from out list of available notes and documents.

Yes, you guessed it – add it to your shopping cart.

When you have finished browsing and you have all you need, click on the cart button and follow the instructions for payment.

Once you have completed the payment, your document will be ready to download.

Oops! Sorry, the short answer is no! We are all eager to earn an extra income, however the work you purchase on here is for a once-off use and not to be redistributed. We monitor student groups and websites and will have to take the necessary steps if it becomes evident that you are re-selling work purchased on this site.

Payments & Refunds

Yes, we do understand that sometimes things go wrong. Not to worry, we are here for you! In the unlikely event that I need a refund, please read through the conditions below and get in touch.

  1. Your document has not been downloaded.

While we strive for nothing less than perfection in our service offering, we understand that sometimes ‘glitches’ sneak in. Please get in touch with us and provide information on the document name / module which you have not been able to download. If we are unable to supply you with the document within 24 hours, we will gladly give you a refund.

  1. The document bought is not as described with a valid reason as to why the document is not as described.

Yes, we are aware that there may be some cases of over promising and under delivering.

If you believe you have purchased a document which does not meet the description, please contact the seller directly with the following:

  1. Module code or document name
  2. Your reason for requesting a document.

Please ensure to copy us on all correspondence (accounts@studypass.co.za) . Keeping track of these issues helps us to improve our service delivery.

  1. Please not you will only be eligible for a refund if it is requested within 48 hours, and with valid reasons for doing so.

*If any of the above applies, please email refunds@studypass.co.za for the refund form and we will investigate the matter. While we understand your time is valuable, we do need some time to ensure we give your queries the attention it deserves. Please give us 3 working days to resolve the matter. Refunds are only made on a Monday.

How Do I make payment?

We are glad you asked! Study Pass uses PayFast. This is because it is the most secure and reliable payment method for us and for you. Should you encounter any issues with this payment method please send us a mail: accounts@studypass.co.za.

We will endeavour to resolve your query within 24 hours.


I do not want to use Payfast?

We understand that giving out money is a sensitive case and we would like to accommodate you as far as possible. We do allow for direct bank deposits or cash send payments, however this is not set up yet on our website. Please email accounts@studypass.co.za for more details.

My Payment is not reflecting?

Payment with Payfast is instant and you should be able to get your document shortly after. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, please contact accounts@studypass.co.za and we will try our best to assist you.

Selling your notes

We’re glad you asked! It’s as easy as 1,2,3.

  1. Sign up and register your account.
  2. Upload your document and follow the instructions.
  3. Accept out terms and conditions.

This is an important question, so please listen up!

All documents need to be in PDF format.

You can sell your summaries, mind maps, worked out examination answers, your assignments and anything that is your own work that could help a student in their studies!

*Please note that we do not allow for any PDF books to be uploaded or any copyright material. This is illegal and will not be accepted. The document needs to be your own work and not of anyone else. No study guides from any institute will be allowed on our platform.


Eager to get your money? We’ve got your back! Your wallet will reflect the amount you have earned. You can only request a withdrawal once your balance is over R200.00.

Payment is made on a Monday and depending on your bank, it can take between 2-3 working days to reflect. Please make sure you have entered the correct banking details – we will not accept responsibility for wrong banking details being entered into the system.

At Study Pass we understand that you are putting in the work and we are facilitating. However, we have to cover our expenses to ensure we are able to provide you with the best possible platform. As such, Study Pass offers a low commission fee. We take 35% from your sales, leaving you with 75%. This rate is better than any of the other sites – yes, we have done our homework and we beat all of them!



While we believe you have provided quality work – there may be times when this is not what the buyer needed. Should a student request a refund on one of your documents, you will be liable for the refund to the buyer. Rest assured that all requested refunds will be investigated to ensure they are fair and in line with our terms and conditions.
