Scenario
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has noticed an increase in cybercrime targeting
university students. To better understand students’ awareness of cybercrime and their online
safety practices, researchers plan to conduct a quantitative survey among undergraduate
students at several South African universities. A structured questionnaire comprising closedended
questions
will be
used
to
collect
data
from a
large
sample
of
participants.
